Scalable geothermal infrastructure engineered for continuous clean energy.
A modular system designed for scalable geothermal deployment.
Clean Energy Without Compromise
Engineering expertise • Proprietary systems • Scientific rigor
EGX Energy is a geothermal infrastructure company focused on unlocking scalable, continuous energy systems.
We are a multidisciplinary team of engineers, geoscientists, and energy specialists driven by a single objective — to design, develop, and operate world-class geothermal infrastructure.
Our expertise spans decades across reservoir engineering, geophysics, advanced mechanical systems, and large-scale energy operations, with deep experience in geothermal, renewables, and oil & gas.
We approach every project with long-term thinking, combining technical precision with operational discipline to build energy assets designed to perform for decades.
Beyond engineering, we are committed to responsible development — working closely with local communities and stakeholders through transparency, respect, and collaboration.
CEO & Co-founder
Damien brings 22 years of experience in the energy transition space, including 15 years at BP Alternative Energy building businesses in wind, solar and biofuels. He also worked as an investment professional at the $1B Climate Investment fund. More recently, Damien was managing the Industrial Decarbonization business at SLB, a large oil field service company.
COO & Co-founder
Marcelo brings 30 years of experience, including 15 in the geothermal industry. Marcelo is a well-known face in the industry, having been board member of the GRC for 4 years. He was president of Geothermex for 8 years, an SLB geothermal consultancy (including asset acquisition, financing, technical due diligence and development). More recently, he was also the Geothermal Manager in Chevron, in charge of EGS program.
VP Resources
Robert brings 20 years of unparalleled expertise in geothermal resource assessment, economic resource modeling, numerical simulation, uncertainty quantification, design and placement of well testing, instrumentation, and down hole measurements. Robert has worked on hundreds of projects globally and has written many papers on geothermal.
Geophysicist
Arjun spent 15 years as a research scientist and lecturer at SLAC, USGS and Stanford. He is a geophysicist and expert in geomechanics and seismic hazard. He has authored papers on earthquake physics and reservoir geomechanics and is the creator of open access geomechanics courses and co-author of textbooks.
Head of Permitting
Coda brings 15 years of experience in geothermal operations and regulatory strategy. Coda holds a Master of Science from Stanford University and worked on the resource team at The Geysers Geothermal Complex. As a business owner, Coda guided development projects through complex permitting processes, integrating regulatory requirements with stakeholder priorities. Coda is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC #9225) and serves on the Strategic Advisory Council for EnviroCert, which provides professional certification in erosion control, stormwater management, and green infrastructure.
Whether you’re an investor, partner, or operator, we’re ready to explore scalable geothermal opportunities.
